Lisans eğitimini İstanbul Üniversitesi Mühendislik Fakültesi Kimya Mühendisliği Bölümü’nde 2006 yılında tamamlayan Ayça Bal Öztürk, yüksek lisansını 2009 yılında İstanbul Üniversitesi Mühendislik Fakültesi Kimya Mühendisliği Bölümü Kimyasal Teknolojiler Programı’nda, doktorasını da 2015 yılında aynı programda tamamlamıştır. Doktora sonrası araştırmalarını doku mühendisliği alanında yürütmek üzere Harvard Üniversitesi’nde 1 yıl süre ile bulunmuştur. Dr. Ayça Bal Öztürk 2017 yılı itibari ile İstinye Üniversitesi Eczacılık Fakültesi’nde yardımcı doçent olarak akademik hayatına başlamıştır.
