Aims and Objectives

Objective 1: Undergraduate and graduate education programs should follow global professional developments and be at international standards

  • Keeping our education programs up-to-date by comparing them with programs in Turkey and abroad
  • Keeping our curriculum responsive to developments and needs in the field of health by presenting it to the opinions of internal and external stakeholders
  • Reflecting the updates of the Core Education Program (CEP) to our curriculum
  • Reflecting Artificial Intelligence and technological developments to our curriculum and education
  • Implementing the problem-based learning model in our education
  • Reflecting the strengths of our university and faculty to the Extended Education Program (EEP)
  • Increasing the number of TUBITAK-supported graduation projects
  • Actively encouraging students to benefit from Erasmus activities
  • Organizing different courses, seminars and workshops to ensure that our graduates are informed about current developments and learn new professional skills
  • Providing our students with social responsibility awareness
  • Opening graduate programs in the fields of Pharmacy and Life Sciences

  • In the research subjects determined by our faculty
  • o Establishing and developing national and international collaborations
  • o Creating infrastructure and experiences with national research projects and making preparations for international projects
  • o Preparing international projects
  • Encouraging the active participation of our academicians in education and webinars and providing knowledge accumulation in line with our R&D strategy
  • Publishing articles with high original value and high citation probability in Q1-Q3 journals
  • Increasing the number of patents with high commercialization probability
  • Developing products and services for the needs of the sector with university-industry collaborations

Objective 3: Developing Phytopharmacy and Aromatherapy research

  • Evaluating Turkey's rich natural resources and introducing them to the food, cosmetics and pharmaceutical sectors
  • Providing training to health professions on Phytotherapy and Aromatherapy, organizing seminars and ensuring the rational use of these product groups
  • Making collaborations with the sector in this field
  • Producing standardized drugs for medical and Collaborating with relevant stakeholders to promote its correct use
