The students of Pharmacy Faculty at Istinye University wore their aprons with a ceremony held in the Topkapı Campus of Istinye University. The ceremony started with the speech of our student, Sena BÜYÜKBAŞ and continued with the speech of Abdullah OLGUN, Dean of Faculty of Pharmacy, about the importance of the day. Saliha USTA, the 21st Century Anatolia Foundation Board of Trustees member, contributed to the ceremony with her speech. Then, Prof. Dr. Melih BULU, the rector of Istinye University addressed students and emphasized the importance of raising moral individuals who are interested in different fields as well as academic achievements.
Nail ALKAN, a member of Istanbul Chamber of Pharmacists, talked about the procedures of pharmacy opening. Hakan ERTEM, the 2nd Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Istanbul Pharmacists' Cooperative, shared the rules of pharmacy and the ways to be successful in the profession with the students. A concert was organized by the faculty students at the ceremony, which was held by the students of the Faculty of Pharmacy and continued with the theater show where daily events that could develop in the pharmacy were exhibited. After the collective photograph taken at the end of the ceremony, the guests were served at the University's kitchen by the Istinye University Vocational School Cookery Program students and faculty members.
