Istinye University (ISU) Faculty of Pharmacy continues to take significant steps to enhance its current strength in education and research by expanding a strategic collaboration with Elsevier Life Science, a prominent brand in the international academic publishing world. The meeting held on September 20th, 2023, aims to increase the opportunities and data mining potential provided by Elsevier in the R&D activities of Istinye University Faculty of Pharmacy and further strengthen the ties with Elsevier.
Representatives from Elsevier Life Sciences, Shimaa Heikal and Dr. Sergey Varnavskiy, along with Dean Prof. Dr. Atilla Akdemir, Vice Deans Dr. Demet Akalgan Aklar and, Dr. Selin Aktar Kiremitçi, and Dr. Sinem Helvacıoğlu from ISU Faculty of Pharmacy participated in the meeting, contributing to the reinforcement of dialogue between the institutions.
The significant meeting organized in collaboration with Elsevier aims to boost the contributions of Istinye University, a research-oriented institution, particularly in the Faculty of Pharmacy, by enhancing its contributions in education and research, ultimately giving a significant impetus to future successes. Enhancing the quality of education, expanding research opportunities, and strengthening international recognition in academic domains are among the anticipated significant gains through the collaboration with Elsevier.
