Dr. Elif Yavuz Dokgöz is a faculty member at the Department of Biochemistry, Faculty of Pharmacy, Istinye University. She holds a Master's degree in Medical Biology with a focus on cancer genetics from Istanbul University - Cerrahpaşa Faculty of Medicine, and earned her PhD in Medical Biochemistry from Istanbul Medipol University, where she studied alterations in energy metabolism in breast cancer cells. Her research interests include cancer metabolism, gene expression analysis, and molecular mechanisms of tumor progression. She has also participated in international academic programs such as the Erasmus-LLP training on molecular diagnostics at Transilvania University of Brasov. Between 2013 and 2016, she worked as an Application Specialist in a biotechnology company. From 2016 to 2021, she served as a lecturer, and since 2021, she has been working as an assistant professor at Istinye University.
