Assoc. Dr. İnci Kayın and Faculty of Health Sciences, Social Services Department's faculty member Dr. Gülcan Urhan, carried a qualitative research titled "Adults with physical disabilities during the Covid-19 epidemic in Turkey: a phenomenological study on the experiences of individuals with spinal cord paralysis", which they carried out together with İsmail Nalbantoğlu, was published in the "Turkish Journal of Applied Social Work". The study, based on the interviews made with spinal cord paralyzed individuals over zoom during the Covid-19 pandemic, reflects the basic problems experienced by individuals with spinal cord paralysis in their daily lives during the pandemic period, and also revealed the need for multidisciplinary studies on this issue.
