Istinye University, Faculty of Pharmacy students Zübeyde Merve Kala and Kutay Kırımlı, who have devoted themselves to laboratory studies as researchers, shared their laboratory research experiences in the "Principles of Laboratory Practice" course.
Zübeyde Merve Kala and Kutay Kırımlı are entitled to TÜBİTAK 2209A and 2209B projects in the fields of Toxicology and Pharmaceutical Botanics/Pharmacognosy respectively . Both students served as role models for other students by making their presentations.

Our event, which started with art, was continued the opening speeches of TÜBİTAK president Prof. Dr. Hasan MANDAL, İstinye University Rector Prof. Dr. Erkan İBİŞ, İstinye University Faculty of Pharmacy Dean Prof. Dr. Atilla AKDEMİR and Young İVEK Chairman of the Board of Directors Dr. Mahmut TOKAÇ. Following the opening speeches in which the importance of multidisciplinary and scientific data was shared, the eight-session event continued with the presentations of our University Professors and pharmaceutical industry pioneers. Our young people once again had a day full of science in this event, which attracted great interest from students from all universities.

Dr. Kerem Dedeoğlu, a valuable member of the Faculty of Dentistry, contributed to the Health Literacy for Pharmacists course on 24.11.2023 and we celebrated the Oral and Dental Health Week together.
As a dental health specialist, Dr. Dedeoğlu shared evidence-based knowledge and experiences about oral and dental health with our students and emphasized the importance of cooperation between pharmacists and dentists regarding health literacy.

The BAGEP awards, given by the Science Academy, which was established in 2011, to encourage young scientists to scientific studies, found their owners for the eleventh time. This year, 39 new awards have been added to the 396 awards given since 2013 in order to identify, reward and support young scientists for new research.
Ayça Bal Öztürk, faculty member of the Department of Basic Sciences of the Faculty of Pharmacy of Istinye University, was awarded the Science Academy Young Scientist Award (BAGEP), which is given to Turkey's leading successful young scientists by the Science Academy. Dr. Ayça Bal Öztürk became one of the 3 scientists who were deemed worthy of an award in the field of "Materials Engineering". Ayça Bal Öztürk received her award at the ceremony held at Bilkent University on April 8, 2023, by our Rector Prof. Dr. Erkan Ibiş presented it.
2022-2023 Güz döneminde 14 hafta boyunca Sosyal Sorumluluk Projesi dersini alan 5. Sınıf Eczacılık Fakültesi öğrencileri takımlar halinde çalışarak Eczacılık Fakültesi Akademisyenlerinin danışmanlığında çok sayıda sosyal sorumluluk projesini başarılı bir şekilde gerçekleştirdiler.
