The students of Pharmacy Faculty at Istinye University wore their aprons with a ceremony held in the Topkapı Campus of Istinye University. The ceremony started with the speech of our student, Sena BÜYÜKBAŞ and continued with the speech of Abdullah OLGUN, Dean of Faculty of Pharmacy, about the importance of the day.
The event called The Use of Medicinal Plants in Korea which is organized by the Faculty of Pharmacy was held at our university with Dr. Su Hye LİM’s participation.
Dr. Ayça Bal Öztürk, member of our Pharmacy faculty published the research article titled "Controlled release profile of 5-fluorouracil loaded P (AAM-co-DMEAEMA) microgel prepared by free radical precipitation polymerization" in "Polymer Bulletin".
Dr. Cenk A. ANDAC, member of our Pharmacy faculty published the research article titled "Design, synthesis and cytotoxic activity of spiro (oxindole-3-3'-pyrrolidine) derivatives" in the journal of "Letters in Drug Design & Discovery"
Dr. Cenk A. ANDAÇ, member of our Pharmacy faculty participated as a guest speaker at the international conference about "NMR in Pharmaceutics, Phytotherapeutics and Medicine".
Assoc. Prof. Dr. İnci Kayın talked about the criteria and important points in the use of non-prescription drugs in the event organized by the Faculty of Pharmacy about “Health Products and Nonprescription Drug Status in Turkey and the World” as a speaker.
The Project of Dr. Ayça Bal Öztürk, member of our Pharmacy faculty titled “Development of Amphiphilic Branched Polymeric Nanoparticular Systems for Targeted Cancer Treatment” was accepted within the scope of the the TÜBİTAK 3001- R & D Projects Support Program.
A compilation article entitled "Evolution and clinical delivery of drug delivery nanomaterials" on "drug delivery systems" is published by Dr. Ayça Bal Öztürk in the journal of "Nano Today" (5-year impact factor: 19.234), one of the most prestigious journals in the field of nanoscience and technology.
Dr. Cenk A. ANDAÇ, attended the "3rd International Conference and Exhibition on Advances in Chromatography & HPLC Techniques" conference in Berlin on 13-14 July, as a guest speaker and moderator.
Our faculty member Prof. Dr. Semra Sardaş published a paper entitled ''To Genotype or Phenotype for Drug and Food Safety? Exiting the Technology Echo Chambers.''
